Printing has a long held reputation as an environmentally unfriendly industry, from the production of paper and throughout the manufacturing process. We take our environmental impact seriously and are doing everything we can to minimise any harmful effects of our work.
To this end we hold the ISO14001 environmental accreditation and FSC ( Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody Accreditation, guaranteeing the history and credibility of our stocks.
Continual investment in up to date technology means we are now alcohol free in our print processes and only use vegetable based oil inks on our litho presses.
We have a firm grip on waste management and recycling of waste, overs and offcuts and actively manage our energy consumption.
High demand for environmentally credible papers and boards has led to prices becoming closely aligned with traditional stocks and giant strides have been made in terms of paper quality, both uncoated and coated. It is now possible to produce top of the line print products in an environmentally conscious way without compromising on quality, longevity or speed and with little, if any effect on budgets.
